Originally from Waikerie in the Riverland, Trinity Schmidt comes from a family of hockey players, actively involved in the sport and her home club from a young age.
She made her Premier League debut back in 2019. She spent a number of years juggling Adelaide and Riverland hockey, before she relocated to Adelaide early this year. She’s easily one of our most solid defenders, having had plenty of practice over her years of experience- though she’s an absolute sight to see in the forward line!
Trinity has represented South Australia a number of times for our Senior Country Women’s Team, even earning herself selection in the Australian Under 21s Country team in 2019, where she then travelled to Borneo to represent the country! She was awarded Player of the Match during SAs game against ADF last year with the Country team, as well as a nomination for Sports Person of the Year.
Trinity is a privilege to have on board our squad, and we’re super excited to see her in action this Saturday!
