Stemming from one of the closest things we have to Grange Royalty (👑 Kaye Chandler 👑), Marni has been a part of GRHC essentially since she was born, but as a playing member since 2010. Making her way through the grades, she earnt herself multiple awards in her junior teams, and even survived multiple years of coaching from her own brother!

Marni debuted in our Premier League side in 2021 at just 15 years old, cementing her spot within the midfield.

Meanwhile- she also managed to make a name for herself within Hockey SA, representing the state on multiple occasions- of course with some limitations with state tournaments paused with Covid.

Marni now remains a key part of not only the PL squad, but the club as a whole! She was awarded last years Club Character Award, and has found herself as the assistant coach for our Under 16 Girls, after multiple years of coaching some of our up and coming superstar juniors ⭐️
