Despite currently managing a hamstring injury, Alistair Jones remains a fundamental part of the Premier League Men’s squad.

Ali joined Grange only a few years ago in 2023, making a significant impact within just a short few years. Running rampant through the midfield, he’s already added multiple goals to his name this season alone!

He started his hockey journey with Saint Peter’s College during his school years, before joining Adelaide hockey club post graduation for part of the 2022 season. Ali was then contemplating giving up the sport- allowing a bit more room to continue his study to become a physio. Thankfully for us- Paxton Silby knew Ali through his involvement with St Peter’s hockey, and was able to convince him to make the change in club!
Even despite the trek he is constantly making from Stirling, Ali remains a major participant in games, trainings and club events, even when managing injury!

We love having Ali as a part of our club, and are super excited to see him return!
