While the Premier League Men’s season is only over for 2025, it unfortunately means the conclusion of Daniel Judges time with us :((

‘Judgey’ joined us in 2021, coming across from YMCC Hockey Club in Perth. He’s a part of the defence force, an engineer working on the submarine program, he’s known to move around over the years, heading where he’s needed, including to us! And then unfortunately to the UK for a few years :((

We did miss him in 2023, due to an unfortunate ACL injury, sustained in a pre season practice match against Forestville, putting home out of action for the rest of the season. Luckily he was able to return again for the following year, falling back into place in our midfield and backline- easily back into his routine of a goal every 2 years!

In his time away from the hockey pitch and submarines, Judgey is a big traveller, putting most people to shame in his ventures across the globe, having been to Everest Base Camp, enjoying multiple week hikes, and the occasional scuba dive!

He’s been an incredible asset to our team over the last few years, even from the sideline, and he’ll be missed greatly. The UK is lucky to have him 🤩
